These terms apply when you use SnapRooster, on the web, in the app, or through an AI assistant you connect (such as ChatGPT). By using it, you agree to them.
Who we are
SnapRooster is run by Prabhakaran D, an individual developer in Singapore. Contact: get2jawa@gmail.com.
What SnapRooster does
You snap or describe your food and SnapRooster estimates calories and nutrients. Estimates are made by AI and can be wrong. They are a guide, not a measurement.
Not medical advice
SnapRooster doesn't give medical, diet or treatment advice, and isn't a medical device. Talk to a doctor or dietitian before making medical or diet decisions, especially if you have a health condition, are pregnant, or have had an eating disorder. Advice from a connected AI assistant comes from that assistant, not from us.
Your account
- You must be 13 or older.
- Keep your account to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else is using it.
- You can delete your account and data at any time in Settings.
Your content
Your photos, notes and food log stay yours. You let us store and process them only to run SnapRooster for you, as described in the privacy policy. Please don't upload anything unlawful or anyone else's private information.
Connected AI assistants
If you connect an assistant such as ChatGPT and approve it, it can read your food log, targets, goals and saved foods. It can't change anything. How that assistant uses what it reads is covered by its own terms and privacy policy. You can disconnect it at any time.
Fair use
Don't misuse SnapRooster: no attempts to break in, overload it, copy it at scale, or use it to harm others. We may limit or close accounts that do.
No guarantees
We work hard to keep SnapRooster running and accurate, but it's provided as it is, without guarantees. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses or for decisions made from estimates.
Our name
SnapRooster™ and the rooster logo are trademarks of Prabhakaran D (applications filed in India). Please don't use them for other products.
Changes and law
We may update these terms; we'll change the date above and tell you in the app about important changes. These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.
